ENG vs IND 2nd ODI - 'One day game is an extension of T20 format' is a statement we've heard quite a few times over the last few days. England and India are portraying the same in the ongoing ODI series between them. Liam Livingstone, the explosive English batter, smacked consecutive boundaries against Hardik Pandya, but in an effort to score more, was dismissed on the very next ball!

After being in a spot of bother at 102/5, having just lost Ben Stokes in the 22nd over, England needed the pair of Liam Livingstone and Moeen Ali to take the English team to a fighting total in the 2nd ODI. Livingstone showed explosive batting as he smacked Hardik Pandya for a six and four on the 4th and 5th delivery of the 29th over respectively.

On the fourth delivery of the 29th over, Livingstone charged down and as Hardik naturally dragged the length back, Livingstone got enough bat on the ball and sent over the long leg fence for a six into the crowd.

Pandya followed up with another short delivery and Livingstone pulled at it hard, well to the left of deep mid-wicket for a four. On the very next delivery, Pandya went with the same length and the batter went for the same shot. This time, however, Liam holed it out straight to the fielder in front of square on the leg-side near the fence. Shreyas Iyer didn't have to move a bit to take the catch and Livingstone was dismissed after scoring 33 runs in 33 balls with 2 fours & 2 sixes.
