1st Test: De Grandhomm guides New Zealand to 313-run lead
Dec.2 (CRICKETNMORE) - New Zealand batsman Colin de Grandhomm struck his maiden century, to guide the hosts to a first innings score of 447 for 9 at stumps on Day 2 at the Basin Reserve, on Saturday. New Zealand are now leading by 313 runs.
Resuming at yesterday's score of 85 for two, de Grandhomme smashed the ninth-fastest Test century of all time, hammering 105 off just 74 balls, including 11 boundaries and three sixes, to turn the screws on the West Indies.
