IPL 2018: Teams and their budgets ahead of Auction
Jan.27 (CRICKETNMORE) - In the IPL 2018 Auction to be held in Bangalore today, each of the eight sides must choose how to spend what remains of their 80 crore budget on a minimum of 18, or maximum 25, players (eight overseas, with only four allowed in any match-day XI).
Here are the budgets for each IPL team for the auction - and the top players they could sign.
Chennai Super Kings: 47 crore rupees
Retained: Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni
Mumbai Indians: 47 crore rupees
Retained: Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah
Delhi Daredevils: 47 crore rupees
Retained: Rishabh Pant, Chris Morris, Shreyas Iyer.
Royal Challengers Bangalore: 49 crore rupees
Retained: Virat Kohli, Sarfaraz Khan, AB de Villiers.
Kolkata Knight Riders: 59 crore rupees
Retained: Andre Russell, Sunil Narine.
Kings XI Punjab: 67.5 crore rupees
Retained: Axar Patel.
Rajasthan Royals: 67.5 crore rupees
Retained: Steve Smith.
Sunrisers Hyderabad: 59 crore rupees
