Rashid Khan stars as Afghanistan beat Bangladesh in first T20I
June 4 (CRICKETNMORE) - Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan took three vital wickets to guide his side to a comfortable 45-run victory over Bangladesh in the first-ever Twenty20 International to be held in Dehradun.
Earlier, Put into bat first, Afghanistan posted a total of 167/8 in their 20 overs. Mohammad Shahzad struck 40 off 37 balls while Samiullah Shenwari contributed 36, Usman Ghani 26, captain Asghar Stanikzai 25 and Shafiqullah 24.
Chasing 168 for victory, the Tigers were bundled out for 122 in 19 overs, opener Liton Das top-scoring with 30 in what was an undercooked performance by the Bangladesh batsmen
