June 10 (CRICKETNMORE) - Opener Kusal Mendis played a brilliant knock of unbeaten 94 in 186 balls as Sri Lanka reached 176-3 by stumps, still needing a further 277 runs on day five having been set a massive target of 453 by West Indies in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Earlier, West Indies had declared on 223-7, thanks to Kieran Powell (88) and skipper Jason Holder (39).
