In the Asia Cup 2022 Super 4 match against Afghanistan, former Indian skipper Virat Kohli played a smashing unbeaten knock of 122 runs. Striking at 200.00, Virat Kohli smacked 12 fours & 6 sixes in his inning. Kohli finally smacked an international ton after a gap of 1,020 days. After this amazing knock, Virat Kohli was heard saying something to Bhuvneshwar Kumar as the batters returned to the dugout.

Virat Kohli first hugged head coach Rahul Dravid, after which he shook hands with the Indian team players. While shaking hands with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Virat Kohli was heard saying 'abhi hai cricket baaki', which means 'there's still cricket left in me'. After listening to these words by Virat, the fans anticipated that Virat wanted to say that there's still cricket left in him.

Virat Kohli was 'out of form' for a long time when some experts demanded the King's exclusion from the T20I team. Some experts even went on to suggest that Virat should retire from T20 cricket. However, Virat shocked and surprised everyone with his excellence with the bat in Asia Cup 2022. Apart from the match against Sri Lanka where Kohli was dismissed for a duck, the batter managed to score runs in all the other Asia Cup 2022 matches.

With the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 in mind, Virat returning to form carries more importance. The T20 World Cup 2022 is set to start in October in Australia. While Virat was seen leading the Indian side in the T20 World Cup last year, the former captain will be seen playing under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
