Afghanistan beat New Zealand in ICC U19 World Cup Quarter-Finals
Jan.25 (CRICKETNMORE) - Afghanistan beat host New Zealand by 202 runs in the quarter-finals of ICC U19 World Cup on Thursday.
After opting to bat, Afghanistan post 309/6 with the help of half-centuries from Rahmanullah Gurbaz (69), Ibrahim Zadran (68), Bahir Shah (67 not out) and the incredible Azmatullah Omarzai (66 off just 23).
The bowlers did the remaining job by dismissing the home side for 107. For Afghanistan, Mujeeb Zadran (4/14) and Qais Ahmed (4/33) took 4 wickets each.
Afghanistan will now meet Australia in the Super League semi-final on 29th January.
