Mumbai, March 28 (Cricketnmore): Fast bowling legend Wasim Akram had a nasty experience here when he was confronted by a drunkard while on a live shoot for a local television channel.

The former Pakistan captain was speaking at a post-match show on a news channel after India's thrilling victory over Australia in a World Twenty20 Group 2 match on Sunday night.

According to espncricinfo.com, the show, in an outdoor setting in the central Mumbai neighbourhood of Lower Parel, was suddenly invaded by the drunk local who tried to stop the broadcast.

The man entered the camera frame and appeared to grab the camera before the footage was switched away from the scene and back to the studio in Delhi. A video of the incident released online shows the man rudely confronting Akram and the camera crew, forcing the cricket legend to halt his analysis and get up from his seat.

The same man reportedly disrupted another television post-match show, this time of ABP news, the shooting of which was being carried out next to the Aaj Tak set-up. Former India spinner Murali Kartik was the cricket expert on the ABP news show.

Aaj Tak's Vikrant Gupta later took to social media platform Twitter.

"Friends no need to panic. Nothing wrong with @wasimakramlive - a few people just objected to the cameras there. That's it," he tweeted.
