KKR vs GT IPL 2022: An unusual bowling strategy has grabbed some attention of late - giving the bowler to bowl the 20th over who hasn't bowled a single over in the match. While this went sideways for Chennai Super Kings earlier with Shivam Dube, Kolkata Knight Riders have found their 20th over specialist in Andre Russell, who picked up 4 wickets in the last over against Gujarat Titans.

Bowling his first over of the match and the last over of Gujarat Titans' innings, Abhinav Manohar and Rahul Tewatia were at the crease for the Titans. On the first bowl of the over, Russell sent a slower one into the pitch, luring Abhinav Manohar, and the batter slogged it with very dismal timing. Rinku Singh, fielding at deep midwicket, completed the catch safely.

Lockie Ferguson came out to bat next and was on strike. Russell delivered a short-pitched bowl and Ferguson connected with a flat show. Rinku Singh came into play again as he managed to take the catch safely on his tip-toe at the boundary. Ferguson was dismissed for a golden duck.

On the 5th delivery of the over, Tewatia was tackled with a slower delivery after smashing a boundary of the previous delivery by Andre Russell. The GT finisher played a cut shot on the delivery wide outside off stump. Rinku Singh got across from deep cover and completed the catch. This was the 3rd catch of the over for Rinku Singh and 4th catch of the innings. Tewatia was dismissed after scoring 17 runs in 12 balls with 2 fours.

GT bowler Yash Dayal was on strike on the last ball of the over, and Andre Russell delivered a low full toss. Dayal played it with a straight bat back to Russell, who completed the catch to dismiss another batter for a golden duck in the same over. Russell gave away 5 runs in the over while picking up 4 wickets, depriving GT of an explosive finish.
