Australia take control of first Test against South Africa

March 2 (CRICKETNMORE) - Australia's Mitchell Starc produced lethal spell of fast bowling to dismissed South Africa out for 162 at the end of the second day. Only AB de Villiers stood firm with an unbeaten 71.

The left-arm paceman took 5/34 in 10.4 overs to give Australia a potentially match winning lead of 189.

Earlier, All-rounder Mitchell Marsh fell just four runs short of his second Test century in consecutive innings Friday as Australia were dismissed for 351 on Day 2.
