Perth Test ended in a high-scoring draw
15th November (CRICKETNMORE) - A brilliant 3rd wicket partnership of 265 runs between Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson helped New Zealand to founght back in tn the second test against Australia. New Zealand have reached 510/6 at stumps on Day 3 of the 2nd test match at W.AC.A.
Many records were made in the day including that of fastest balls in history bowled by Mitchell Starc. Starc was clocked at 160.4km/h at the WACA on Sunday, the fastest delivery recorded in Test history.
Ross Taylor hit the highest score by an overseas player in Australia, 235 not out. He batted 460 minutes, faced 308 balls and hit 24 fours in compiling his thirteenth and highest test score.
Kane Williamson's 12th test ton, 166 in 390 minutes and off 250 balls, was the other dominant contribution today. The pair put on 265 for the third wicket, a New Zealand record for any wicket against Australia.
