After LSG were struggling at 29/4 in 4.3 overs, the right-handed batter held the crease along with Deepak Hooda (55) and helped LSG to a defendable total.
In his innings off 54 runs of 41 balls, Badoni smacked 3 sixes. One of them was smacked against the master-spinner from Afghanistan, Rashid Khan. On the 3rd delivery of the 16th over, Badoni picked the googly early bowled by Rashid Khan and took on the longest part of the ground.
