BBL 10: Perth Scorchers Beat Melbourne Renegades By 96 Runs

Perth Scorchers bowled out Melbourne Renegades for a mere 89 runs to win the 25th game of Big Bash League(BBL) by 96 runs on Sunday. 

Renegades never really looked in the chase as they lost three wickets, including captain Aaron Finch, inside the powerplay. 
Melbourne got reduced to 8/59 in just nine overs into the chase of 186 runs. Jack Prestwidge, who had a good day with the ball taking 2/32, top-scored with the bat as well - 33. 

Prestwidge made sure Renegades took the bash boost point at the end of the 10 overs when Melbourne crossed the 64 run mark. 

For Scorchers, all the bowlers took at least one wicket. Aaron Hardie and Fawad Ahmed took two wickets each. 

Earlier, Renegades put Scorchers into bat. Perth got off to a solid start of 41 but lost the openers quickly after that. Josh Inglis and Colin Munro put on 117 run stand to take the team to a total of 185. Inglis scored 72* with the help of seven fours and two sixes.
