BBL 10: Perth Scorchers Smash 185/3 Against Melbourne Renegades
Perth Scorchers, on Sunday, smash 185/3 against Melbourne Renegades in the first innings in the 25th match of the Big Bash League(BBL).
Earlier, Renegades won the toss and put Scorchers to bat. Perth got off to a decent start as they hit 29 runs in the powerplay without losing any wicket. Both Jason Roy and Liam Livingstone got good starts, however, they couldn't convert into a big one.
After losing both openers at the end of the 9th over, Josh Inglis and Colin Munro stitched out a 117 runs partnership to take the team to a solid total. Their partnership came in just 63 balls. Inglis remained unbeaten at 72 off 41 balls, which included seven fours and two sixes, while Munro got out after scoring 52 in 31 balls with help of five sixes and a four.
For Melbourne, Jack Prestwidge took two wickets in his four-over spell while conceding 32 runs.
