Chennai, Nov 18 (IANS) The Indian cricket board will not sack tainted Indian Premier League (IPL) boss Sundar Raman who has been indicted by the Supreme Court-appointed Mukul Mudgal Committee, a board official said Tuesday.

The report of the Mudgal Committee, which probed allegations of spot fixing and betting in the 2013 edition of the lucrative IPL, stated that Raman was in contact with bookies during the sixth edition of the IPL.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Sanjay Patel told mediapersons after an emergency meeting of its Working Committee here that they will abide by the Supreme Court's decision in the matter.
