Christchurch Test: New Zealand at 104/3, trail by 29 runs vs Pakistan

Christchurch, Nov 18 (CRICKETNMORE) After rain played a spoilsport on the first day, New Zealand scored 104/3, trailing by 29 runs, on second day of the First Test match against Pakistan at the Hagley Oval here on Friday.

Jeet Raval (55) and Henry Nicholls (29) were at the crease when umpires dislodged the bails for the day.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Amir, Sohail Khan and Rahat Ali took one wicket each.

Earlier, put in to bat, Kiwi's Colin de Grandhomme ran through Pakistan's batting line-up to wrap their innings for 133 in just 36 overs. Apart from Grandhomme, Tim Southee and Trent Boult scalped two wickets each.

Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq was the top scorer for Pakistan with 31 runs while Sami Aslam contributed with 19 runs.
