The Australia vs Pakistan test series was a historic tour as the players from down under landed after 24 years to play against the Babar Azam-led side. All the hype regarding the series went down the drain as Pakistan created flat tracks in all three matches that resulted in dull games resulting in a draw.

Although the third test match hasn't been completed yet, the Lahore pitch is similar to that in Rawalpindi and Karachi. The outrage of the fans reached Pakistan Cricket Board's chief Ramiz Raja, who even came out and clarified why the pitches are flat.

However, post the clarification, several media reports stated that Ramiz Raja asked the commentary panel to not discuss regarding the behavior of the pitch during commentary.

On day 2 of the third test, when Pakistan were batting, Michael Kasprowicz was commentating and while having a discussion he accidentally said the pitch to be flat but immediately changed his words and said the 'beautiful batting tracks'.

"I think the key on these flat wickets, sorry on these good batting strips.. beautiful batting strips," Kasprowicz said on air.

Even though the reports suggesting the commentary panel refrain from not discussing the pitch weren't clarified, this incident gives us an idea that the commentators are indeed restricted from speaking about the pitches in Australia vs Pakistan test series.
