Jan.18 (CRICKETNMORE) - Australian match referee, David Boon reaches three figures. Emirates Elite Panel of the ICC Match Referees became the 12th match referee to referee in 100 ODIs when he went out for toss ahead of Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe ODI in Mirpur on Wednesday.

To mark the occasion, ICC Director and BCB President Nazmul Hassan presented a memento to Mr Boon. Former captain and convener of Zimbabwe selectors, Tatenda Taibu, as well as other senior BCB officials also attended the presentation ceremony.

Mr Boon joined the Elite Panel in 2011 following an international career spanning from 1984-1996, during which he played 107 Tests and 181 ODIs for Australia. He had earlier made his first-class debut for Tasmania in 1978-79 at the age of 17, before retiring from all levels of cricket at the end of the 1999 English County Championships season.
