David Warner Sends A 'Message' Through Stump Mic During Live Match, Watch Video Here
SL vs AUS 2nd test: Australian opener batter David Warner is amazingly popular for his quirky & funny personality amongst his fans. In the ongoing 2nd test match between Sri Lanka and Australia, Warner yet again did something which would challenge one to hold their laughter. David Warner used the stump microphone in a hilarious way to send a message to a broadcasted in the media box.
The batter was having a disturbance in his eyesight while getting ready to face the next ball due to this broadcaster standing in the media box. Warner used the stump mic to appeal to the broadcaster to sit down instead of standing so that the play can resume.
David Warner went towards the stumps and said to the Ten Sports broadcasting team, 'Broadcast can you tell Jeff Lemon, the man in yellow to sit down, the batters getting frustrated. A hilarious video of the same was posted on Twitter by renowned live cricket director Hemant Buch.
The fans witnessed this incident in the 65th over of the Sri Lankan innings. When Warner passed on this message, broadcaster Jeff Lemon was standing behind the striker's back. However, the batter must be getting ready for the next over and hence David Warner appealed to the broadcasters to clear out a disturbance in the striker's eyesight.

While talking about the match, Australia posted 364 in the first innings after opting to bat first, courtesy of tons from Marnus Labuschagne (104) and Steve Smith (145*). In reply, Sri Lanka are going strong at 324/7 while writing this piece, trailing by just 37 runs at tea on day 3. Dimuth Karunaratne scored 86 runs, Kusal Mendis scored 85 while Angelo Mathers contributed with 52 runs. Dinesh Chandimal (63*) and Kaminu Mendis (24) are at the crease for the hosts.
