June 1 (CRICKETNMORE) - England started the Champions trophy Campaign with an Eight wicket victory over Bangladesh on Thursday. Check the match report below:

​​1. England Captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and opted to field against Bangladesh in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 Opener on Thursday at Kennington Oval in London.

2. Opener Tamim Iqbal guided Bangladesh to Post 305/6 in 50 Overs.

3. Tamim Iqbal scored a stylish century (128) and remained the top scorer for Bangladesh. He hit 12 boundaries and three sixes in his innings​. ​Mushfiqur Rahim​ also struck 79 from 72.
