Gayle Storm Hits RR As KXIP Scores 185/4

Chris Gayle's 99 helps Kings XI Punjab(KXIP) score 185/4 in the first innings against Rajasthan Royals(RR). 

Earlier, RR captain Steve Smith won the toss and opted to bowl first. Punjab got off to a good start scoring 53 runs in the powerplay and lost only one wicket. 

KL Rahul(46) and Chris Gayle(99) added 120 runs for the second wicket in 15 overs. Gayle's inning included six fours and eight sixes. Chris Gayle, during his innings, became the first player to smash his 1000 sixes in T20 cricket.  

Nicholas Pooran played a quick cameo of 22 runs off 10 balls which included three sixes. 

For RR, Jofra Archer took two wickets in his four overs and gave away 26 runs.
