DC vs RCB IPL 2022: Glenn Maxwell has been a revelation in the IPL ever since he left Kings XI Punjab and joined Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2021. He proved his intense batting skills in his 100th IPL match as he thrashed 23 runs in an over against the dangerous wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav.

After RCB lost the first three wickets inside the first 7 overs, the scoreboard read 47/3 after 8 overs. Maxwell was batting on 24* from 19 balls when Kuldeep Yadav was brought in to bowl the 9th over. On the first delivery, Maxwell made his intentions clear as he smacked an 85.9 KPH delivery on the shorter side of the ground, between long-on and mid-wicket for a four.

Maxwell content himself with a double on the next delivery. On the third delivery, Kuldeep bowled leg-spin short of length and Maxi went deep in his crease, bent his back leg and smashed it over deep square leg with a furious pull shot for a six.

The fourth delivery of the over was bowled on the fuller length and was on the outside off stump line. The all-rounder reached for the wide ball and slapped it through extra cover with a slap drive for a four.

Kuldeep Yadav yet again went with a fuller length and this time delivered it in the batter's slot. Maxwell went across the line and slogged it over deep mid-wicket for a 69m six. On the last ball, Maxwell took a single, and completed 23 runs off the over, taking the RCB score from 47/3 to 70/3 in an over.
