Player Support Personnel: Harry Tector was fined 15 percent of match fees for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during Ireland’s one-off Test match against Zimbabwe at Belfast.

The sanction on Tector comes after Ireland clinched four-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the first-ever Test cricket meeting between the two teams, where he made 4 and 0 in both innings.

Tector was found to have breached the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, relating to “showing dissent at an Umpire’s decision during an International Match.” Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand, a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player’s match fee, and one or two demerit points.
