The three-match T20 series between India and Australia will begin on 4th December. Both batsmen and bowlers will keep an eye on a few records that can be made and broken during the series.

Here is a list of top records to keep an eye on during the blockbuster T20 series between India and Australia:

1) Kohli to complete 3000 T20I runs

Virat Kohli will become the first batsman to complete 3000 runs in the men's T20I if he manages to score 206 runs in the three matches series. Kohli has so far played a total of 82 matches in his T20I career in which he has scored 2794 runs including 24 half-centuries. The second in the list is Rohit Sharma, who has made 2773 runs in 108 matches.

2) Finch to become the highest T20I run-scorer for Australia

Aaron Finch is close to breaking Warner's record of highest run-getter in T20Is for Australia. Warner has so far played a total of 81 T20I matches in which he has scored 2265 runs. Finch, on the other hand, has made 2114 runs in the T20Is for Australia. If Finch manages to score 141 runs in this series, he will become the highest T20I run-scorer for Australia.

3) 300 sixes for Kohli in T20s

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has played 296 T20 matches in his career in which he has smashed a total of 297 sixes. If Virat Kohli smacks three more sixes in the T20 series against Australia, he will complete 300 sixes in his T20 career.

4) Bumrah to take over Chahal in the list of highest T20 wicket-takers of India

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has so far claimed a total of 209 wickets in 172 T20 matches. If Bumrah takes two more in the first match he will leave behind leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal to become the fourth-highest wicket-taker for India in T20Is. Chahal has so far taken a total of 210 wickets in T20 cricket. Piyush Chawla is the current highest T20 wicket-taker in India, followed by Amit Mishra and Ravichandran Ashwin.
