Sept.17 (CRICKETNMORE) - India beat Australia by 26 runs (DLS) in the first ODI at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday. Hardik Pandya struck a whirlwind 83 off 66 balls while ever reliable MS Dhoni played a brilliant knock of 79 off 88 balls to help India post 281/7.

Rain runied the second half of the play and a revised target of 164 was given to visitors in 21 overs. Indian bowlers restrict Australia to 137/9.
