India Tour Of South Africa: CSA Announces 21-Player Squad For Test Series
Amidst rising Covid cases, India's tour of South Africa was postponed by a week and is scheduled to start from December 26. The tour will kick off with test series, with the first test to be played at Centurion.
Cricket South Africa announced a list of 21 players who comprise the test squad against the #1 Test side in the world - Virat Kohli's India. BCCI hasn't yet announced the touring squad, but it is probable that Team India will land in South Africa with a full-strength squad.
In the South African squad, 2 players have received their maiden call up to the national side - Sisanda Magala and Ryan Rickelton. Magala has already debuted for South Africa in T20Is, where he has 84 runs and 3 wickets to his name in 4 matches. Rickelton hasn't yet made his debut in any format yet.

Duanne Oliver, the 29-year old right-arm fast-medium bowler has also made a comeback to the national side. Oliver played his last test for South Africa in 2019 against Sri Lanka at Port of Elizabeth. Duanne Oliver has 48 wickets to his name in 10 test matches averaging 19.85. He has three 5-wicket hauls and one 10-wicket-inning to his name.
