IND VS AUS Match Preview:

The Indian team will be excited to come back into international cricket after a long gap. The players will now be fresh after playing a two-month-long IPL before the series. 

All the players in the squad had at least one outing during the tournament. KL Rahul, the new Indian limited-overs vice-captain, had a brilliant season with the bat scoring the most runs. Captain Virat Kohli had a decent one according to his standards. Hardik Pandya, who will be returning to the Indian side after an injury break, too had an exciting IPL 2020. 

The bowling attack also looks in good form with Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami consistently being among the wickets. Yuzvendra Chahal has been the key spinner for India for a long time now. 

Australians, on the other hand, have played a bit of international cricket in September, and most of the players participated in the IPL as well. Steve Smith hasn't been in the best of forms lately, as seen during the IPL. Marcus Stoinis had a good hit with Delhi Capitals, and so did David Warner captaining the Sunrisers Hyderabad side. 

Mitchell Starc hasn't played much cricket but will be a key bowler for Australia. Glenn Maxwell had an offseason with both bat and ball and will be looking to find form in the yellow jersey. 

The two teams are looking fresh and balanced, suggesting that no side can be called clear favorites.
