India vs England 1st T20I Stats Preview: Kohli-Rohit Set To Break Many T20 Records

The five-match T20I series between India and England will begin on 12th March at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. 

Here is the list of all records that can be made during India vs England 1st T20I: 

3000 T20I Runs For Kohli: 

Virat Kohli will become the world's first male cricketer to score 3000 T20I runs. Kohli has scored 2928 runs in 79 innings of 85 matches played so far in his T20I career at an average of 50.48 while striking the ball at a rate of 138.44. 

300 T20 Matches For Kohli:

The Indian captain will be playing his 300th match on Friday. He will become India's fifth and 31st player overall to play 300 T20 matches. Rohit Sharma has played the most matches among Indian players - 340. MS Dhoni (331), Suresh Raina (324), Dinesh Karthik (310) are also part of the list.

 

Highest Wicket-Taker For India In T20Is: 

Yuzvendra Chahal is set to overtake Jasprit Bumrah to become the highest wicket-taker for India in T20Is. Currently, both players have 59 wickets each in this format. Bumrah is not playing in this series due to personal reasons. 

9000 T20 Runs For Rohit Sharma: 

Opener Rohit Sharma will become India's second and ninth cricketer in the world to score 9000 T20 runs as soon as he makes 26 runs. Rohit has so far scored 8974 runs in 327 T20 innings. Virat Kohli is top-scorer for India in T20s with 9500 runs to his name in 284 innings. 

250 Fours For Hitman: 

As soon as Rohit Sharma hits five fours, he will become the fourth player in the world to hit 250 fours in T20Is. Virat Kohli leads the list with 265 fours with Paul Stirling(253) and Martin Guptill(250) behind him.
