Team India reaches West Indies for Test series

St. Kitts, July 7 (CRICKETNMORE): The Indian cricket team arrived here on Thursday for the four-match Test rubber against hosts West Indies, with the first match starting from July 21 at Antigua.

New head coach Anil Kumble posted a photograph of the team in his twitter handle and wrote: "Reached St. Kitts...long flight..@cheteshwar1 @klrahul11 @y_umesh Tour begins @BCCI."

Led by the flamboyant Virat Kohli, the team will play a couple of practice games against the West Indies Cricket Board President’s XI on July 9-10 and July 14-16 at Warner Park, Basseterre here ahead of the Tests.

While the opening Test will be hosted at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, the second Test will be played at Kingston from July 30 followed by the third and fourth Tests From August 9 and 18 at St. Lucia and Trinidad respectively.
