In the 12th match of IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings(CSK) will meet Rajasthan Royals(RR) in Mumbai on Monday. Both the teams are coming into this match after winning their respective previous games.

Chennai Super Kings batting has looked good with the addition of Moeen Ali and Suresh Raina at the top of the order, which they missed in the IPL 2020 season. Faf du Plessis found form in the last game and could play another good inning in this match as well. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ambati Rayudu haven't impressed so far and one of them could make way for Robin Uthappa in the batting lineup.

MS Dhoni has batted just two balls in this season and hasn't scored. His place in the batting order will be crucial since he hasn't had much match practice. CSK might want him to bat as many balls as possible to give MS the best chance to set his eyes which will eventually help in the team's cause in the later stages of the tournament.

Ravindra Jadeja is the key player since he can bat, bowl, and field. Jadeja's presence was crucial for CSK in the last game in the field where he bowled an economical spell and choked runs with his fielding efforts as well. Deepak Chahar would be looking forward to another seamer-friendly wicket and do the job for his team as he did in the last match.

Rajasthan Royals' top order collapsed in the seamer-friendly conditions in the last game before David Miller and Chris Morris pulled things to win them the game. Jos Buttler hasn't looked impressive but will be crucial for his team especially in the top-order.

All eyes will be on Manan Vohra, who hasn't impressed much with his outings while opening. Riyan Parag will be the X-factor for RR with his batting as well as bowling. Sanju Samson might go in with the same playing XI for this game

Jaydev Unadkat and Mustafizur Rahman played a vital role in RR's win in the last game. Their use of seam, as well as cutters, kept the batsmen guessing.

Chennai Super Kings has been the better side than Rajasthan Royals in the past. However, RR's squad looks solid this time and will challenge CSK and might as well win the game.
