Kuldeep Set To Return, Ravi Bishnoi Gets Maiden Call Up For T20I Series Against West Indies; Reports
In a recent report by PTI, it has been stated that Kuldeep Yadav is set to make his international return against West Indies in the T20I series, while the young leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi has received his maiden call up for the same series.
Kuldeep Yadav has registered 41 wickets for India in 23 T20I matches, averaging 14.21 at an economy of 7.15. He was a sensation for team India until he went through a bad phase and was disregarded from the international circuit. Yadav played his last T20I for India in July 2021 against Sri Lanka where India had sent a 'B' string side due to the tour of England during the same time.
Before that, Yadav featured for India in a T20I match against Sri Lanka in January 2020. The slow-left arm wrist-spinner is set to return for the T20I series against West Indies starting from February 16th at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
While Ravi Bishnoi, the highest wicket-taker of the tournament in the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2020, caught the spotlight with his performance in the IPL for Kings XI Punjab. The young leg spinner has 24 wickets to his name in 23 IPL matches with an average of 25.25. His economy also reads an impressive 6.96.

India is set to host West Indies for a 3-match ODI and 3-match T20 series, starting from February 6th. The three ODIs will be played first, all at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad followed by T20Is at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, commencing from February 16th.
