In the doubleheader Sunday, Royal Challengers Bangalore thumped Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings dominated Delhi Capitals, making things interesting in the IPL points table.

In the afternoon, the Royal Challengers' win was set up by Wanindu Hasaranga's five-wicket haul and Faf du Plessis' unbeaten 73. Dinesh Karthik also slammed 30 runs in eight balls to finish the inning. The Sunrisers were bundled out for 125 runs, falling short of the 193-run target by 67 runs.

At night, the Super Kings' charge was led by Devon Conway's 87 and some fine contributions from Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shivam Dube, and MS Dhoni. In chasing the 209-run target, Delhi got bowled out for 117 runs, losing the game by 91 runs.

Both games have taken a massive effect on all the four teams' Net Run Rate(NRR).
