Makhaya Ntini's son Thando in South Africa's U-19 World Cup squad
Johannesburg, Dec 16 (Cricketnmore): Former South Africa paceman Makhaya Ntini's fast bowler son Thando Ntini has been included in the country's 15-member squad for next year's ICC Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand.
The 17-year old has taken 10 wickets in eight youth one-dayers and will play his first U-19 World Cup under the leadership of Raynard van Tonder.
Wicketkeeper Wandile Makwetu is the only member of the squad to travel for a second World Cup. He was part of the national team in the 2016 tournament in Bangladesh as well.
The U-19 World Cup will be played between January 13 and February 3, with South Africa slotted in Group A.
The South Africans will open their campaign against Kenya on January 14 in Lincoln followed by matches against hosts New Zealand and defending champions West Indies.
