Ace New Zealand batter Martin Guptill scored an excellent ton in the 3rd and final ODI against Ireland on Friday (July 17th), playing a knock of 115 runs. In this match, apart from dominating with the bat, Guptill showed his fabulous skills while fielding as well, leaving the spectators astonished. In the same match, Martin Guptill grabbed an excellent one-handed catch which left all the spectators in awe.
This happened in the 39th over of Ireland's inning. Ireland were at a total of 271 at a loss of 3 wickets, and the Black Caps desperately needed a wicket to stay in the game. Mitchell Santner was in the bowling attack and on the third delivery of his over, Gareth Delany played an aggressive shot towards cover. Taking on the Irish bowlers, Guptill smashed 15 fours & 2 huge sixes. After Guptill's ton, Henry Nicholls blasted 79 runs off 54 balls. Apart from Nicholls, Glenn Phillips also scored 47 runs in 30 balls.

While talking about the match, an edge-of-the-seat thriller was played in the 3rd ODI between Ireland and New Zealand at Malahide Cricket Ground. Even though Ireland lost this match, they took the match to the last ball while chasing a humongous target of 361 runs.
