The Hundred 2022 tournament in currently ongoing in England, where on Monday (August 8th) evening, London Spirit and Manchester Originals clashed against each other. London Spirit managed to win this match by 52 runs, during which London Spirit bowler Mason Crane took an unbelievable catch which shocked one and all. Crane took an amazing catch to dismiss opposition captain Jos Buttler, and a video of the same is getting viral on social media now.
England's top names are participating in The Hundred, and the fans are very excited about the ongoing dynamic tournament. Past Monday, English fans were hoping to witness a thrilling match as England's explosive opener Jos Buttler was about to come to bat, but these hopes were shattered as Mason Crane hung on to a jaw-dropping catch which forced Jos Buttler to walk back to the pavilion.
This happened in the 13th over of the Manchester Original's inning. Jordan Thomson was bowling the over for London Spirit. Jos Buttler was batting on a meagre score of 6 runs off 10 balls, and the batter was naturally looking to go for a big shot. Captain Buttler tried to release the pressure and went for an aerial shot against Jordan Thomson. However, a miscued hit caused the ball to go up high in the air.
After contacting Buttler's bat, the ball went in the air in the sky for 6 seconds, during which Mason Crane kept sprinting after the ball, keeping his eyes fixated on the ball. Mason knew that Buttler has the potential to carry Manchester Originals to a win on his own, and consequently Mason was under a lot of pressure. However, he didn't let himself get distracted and dived at the last moment to complete a fabulous catch.

While talking about the match, London Spirit opted to bat first after winning the toss, after which the Eoin Morgan-led team posted a total of 160 courtesy of Zak Crawley (41) and Kieron Pollard (34). For Manchester, Phil Salt (36) was the top scorer and the only player who scored more than 20 runs for the Originals as the team was bowled out for 108 runs in 98 balls, losing the match by 52 runs.
