RCB vs GT IPL 2022: As much as cricket is a sport that unites people, at times it tests the best with its cruelty. Players at times lose their temper with certain aspects or outcomes in the game, and a similar incident was witnessed in the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore & Gujarat Titans, where Matthew Wade went on to 'smash' in the dressing room after getting dismissed for 16 runs on the field.

Wade came out to bat at #3 in the 3rd over after Shubman Gill was dismissed courtesy of an excellent catch by Maxwell. The Australian wicket-keeper was batting at 16 runs with 2 fours & a six. His countryman and RCB all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell, was bowling his second over and the last over of the powerplay.

Maxwell delivered the second delivery angling towards the stumps. Wade moved across & got low to sweep it fine. However, it seemed like he managed an under-edge of the bat onto the stumps. The RCB players went up in appeal and the on-field umpire adjudged it out.

Matthew Wade instantly went for the review, believing he had definitely edged the bowl. However, the UltraEdge didn't show any movement as the ball crossed the bat in the replay, and the on-field call stood.

The Australian keeper-batter was absolutely fuming with this. He went towards the dressing room with a face red with anger. As soon as he entered the dressing room, took off his helmet and threw it without any care. He began 'smashing' his other bats with raging anger. Moments later, GT support staff and coaches were seen talking to the batter. Overs later, Wade was seen talking about the same with Maxwell on the boundary line.
