India vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test: A massive confusion happened just at the start of the pink ball test match between India and Sri Lanka at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore when Mayank Agarwal was adjudged run-out.

The incident happened in the second over of the match when Vishwa Fernando bowled a nip-backer that beat Mayank and hit the pads. Sri Lankan players appealed and at the same time, the ball rolled over towards the covers.

Mayank tried to use this as an opportunity to steal a run. At first, Rohit Sharma was interested in the run but when he was Praveen Jayawickrama grabbing the ball, he stopped. Agarwal, till then, had already crossed half-pitch and couldn't go back.

Jayawickrama threw towards the keeper Niroshan Dickwella but Sri Lanka wanted an LBW review. Dickwella asked his captain Dimuth Karunaratne to take the review and simultaneously removed the bails at the batting end.

Now, the third umpire adjudged that it was a no-ball so the DRS was invalid. However, even though it was a no-ball, the run-out was still counted and Mayank Agarwal had to go back to the pavilion.
