Netherlands vs Ireland, 1st ODI Match Preview:

Netherlands batters had a good match practice last week against Scotland. Stephan Myburgh and Max ODowd are in good touch at the top of the order.

Vivian Kingma is in good rhythm while Pieter Seelaar and Logan Van Beek can contribute in both departments.

Ireland hasn't played an ODI match in the last four months. They last played against Afghanistan and lost all three games. All eyes will be on experienced Paul Stirling, Kevin O'Brien, William Porterfield to set up the scoring for Ireland.

Craig Young and Barry McCarthy will be key in the bowling department for the Irish. George Dockrell could prove to be the X-factor.

Ireland has a dominating record against the Netherlands in the past although the two teams haven't played against each other for the last seven years. The home advantage and a better match practice could mean the Netherlands winning the series.
