New Zealand Players Get Vaccinated Ahead Of England Tour
All the New Zealand cricketers who are back at home have got their first dose of covid vaccine before they depart for the tour of England next month.
The Blackcaps, the official Twitter account of the NZ's men's cricket team, tweeted the photo of Neil Wagner, who was 'the last of New Zealand-based players to receive the first of two doses'.
Some of the Kiwis are in India participating in the Indian Premier League(IPL) 2021 namely Kane Williamson, Mitchell Santner, Trent Boult, Kyle Jamieson, and Jimmy Neesham.
These players are likely to miss the series as it is being reported that all the players coming from India will be required to do an extended quarantine since UK has added the sub-continent nation to its travel 'red list' due to the rise in Covid case there.
New Zealand's two-test tour against England will begin on 2nd June while the WTC Finals will take place on 18th June in Southampton
