Nicholas Pooran Wreaks Chaos With his Bowling, 4D Windies Captain Picks Up 4 Wickets Against Pakistan; Watch Here
PAK vs WI 3rd ODI: West Indies' captain Nicholas Pooran wreaked havoc with his bowling in the 3rd ODI between Pakistan and West Indies on 12th June (Sunday). Nicholas Pooran bowled 10 overs and conceded 48 runs while picking up 4 top-order wickets, dismissing both openers and number 4 and number 5 of the Pakistani team, breaking the batting backbone.
Nicholas Pooran usually donned the gloves as a wicketkeeper. However, with Shai Hope behind the wickets, skipper Pooran was leading the team while fielding at various positions.
Pooran opened his wicket account with the opener Fakhar Zaman, who was looking good as he scored 35 runs in 48 deliveries with 4 fours. Pooran grabbed his first international wicket as he clean bowled Fakhar Zaman. After the openers had added 85 runs, Pooran got the important breakthrough in the 17th over.
The off-spinner, Nicholas Pooran came on to bowl in the 13th over of the Sri Lankan innings. Pooran gave away 13 runs in his first two overs and went on to bowl Zaman on the 4th delivery of the 3rd over.
Pooran went on to dismiss Imam-ul-Haq (62) and Mohammad Haris (0) in the same over. The Windies skipper didn't stop and claimed his fourth wicket in the 25th over as he dismissed wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan.

While talking about the match, Pakistan scored 218/7 in 43.3 overs with fifties from Imam-ul-Haq and Shadab Khan (55*). The match has been reduced to 48 overs as the game is still stopped due to bad weather. Earlier, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss & opted to bat first against West Indies in the 3rd ODI.
