Pakistan had a decent series with the bat in the New Zealand tour. The batting in their last T20I series was supported by Mohammad Hafeez. Hafeez has not been included in this series, however, Babar Azam is back in the squad. The batting line up will be more or less the same as their New Zealand series with Babar replacing Hafeez. 

Bowling has always been a strength for Pakistan. Haris Rauf has already proved himself as a game-changing bowler in the T20 format. He will be well supported by Shaheen Afridi, who has been in good form recently. 

South Africa will play a second-string side in this T20 series. Heinrich Klaasen, who is making a comeback after recovering from Covid-19, will be leading the side. David Miller will be a key player for South Africa. 

They have picked up quite a few all-rounders in the squad and will be hoping they could prove their worth at the international level against a team, who is strong in the T20 format. 

South Africa has historically been a more dominant side against Pakistan. However, the home advantage and the team strength will be a good opportunity for Pakistan to win the series against South Africa.
