Ravichandran Ashwin Completes 418 Wickets In Test Cricket, Goes Past 'Turbanator' Harbhajan
In the ongoing test match between India & New Zealand, Ravi Ashwin picked up 3 wickets and went past Wasim Akram's tally of 414 wickets. The ace spinner continued to move up the list as he has picked up 2 wickets till now in the second innings and has gone past Harbhajan Singh.
In the 55th over of New Zealand's 2nd innings, Ashwin bowled a slower & quick delivery to Tom Latham, which Latham edged on to the stumps. This was Ashwin's 418th wicket in test cricket, and now went ahead Harbhajan Singh's total of 417 wickets.
'Lege' Ashwin has now registered 418 wickets to his name in his 80th match, 150th inning. He has 30 wicket hauls to his name along with 7 ten-wicket-innings hauls. The 35-year-old spinner made his debut for the Indian team in 2011 against West Indies.
