Watch Video: RCB's Recruit Mohammad Azharuddeen Runs Out Batsman In Acrobatic Way
Royal Challengers Bangalore's recruit Mohammad Azharuddeen stunned everyone as he ran out batsman in an acrobatic style on Monday.
While playing a local T20 tournament in Kerala - Presidents Cup T20, Azharuddeen was leading his team - KCA Eagles against KCA Tuskers. During the match, the batsman - Sreenath K - tried to take a quick single after playing the ball in the off-side but was sent back from the non-striker. He got close to get back to the crease before the keeper Azharuddeen, after collecting the ball from the fielder at covers, flicked the bails while cartwheeling.
The batsman was judged out by the on-field umpire as the fielders ran to celebrate the dismissal with the wicket-keeper who seems to be in sky-high confidence after being picked in the IPL 2021.
He will be playing under Virat Kohli's leadership for RCB. He got selected on the back of a successful Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 earlier this year. He smacked a 37-ball century for Kerala in the tournament which caught the eyes of the public. He later got recruited by RCB for 20 Lakhs.
