Rohit Sharma Confirmed To Be ODI Captain, Virat Kohli To Lead In Tests Only
Rohit Sharma has been named the ODI Captain in place of Virat Kohli. Earlier, Rohit Sharma was handed over the T20 captaincy after Virat decided to step down due to workload management. A lot of fans & experts were speculating Rohit to become the ODI captain for the past few days. Sharma will now completely lead India in the limited-overs format.
In the test format, Rohit has been assigned a new responsibility as well - he has been announced as the vice-captain of the test team as Ajinkya Rahane has been stripped of the post. Virat Kohli will continue leading the Indian test side.
Virat Kohli is one of the most successful Indian One-Day captains. Under Kohli's captaincy, India has played 95 One Day matches in which they've recorded 65 wins and 27 losses. India's win percentage has been 70.43% under Virat's leadership.

Even though Virat's ODI team wasn't able to lift an ICC trophy, the team has performed remarkably well. Under the great batter from Delhi, India reached the finals of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 and ICC World Cup 2019.
