WATCH: Shane Warne Selects His Top 5 Favorite Test Batters; 1 Indian In The List

Former Australian great leg-spinner Shane Warne has named his top 5 favourite test cricketers in the world. Warne has expressed his faith in Aussie players, naming 2 out of 5 Australians in his top 5 batters in test cricket. 

Whereas, 1 Indian player was able to find his place in Shane Warne's top 5 list. Warne has named Steve Smith as his most favourite batter in test cricket. Smith has proved his mantle as one of the best test batters to ever play the game and this comes as no surprise that he's #1 in Shane Warne's list. 

England captain Joe Root finds himself on the #2 spot in Warne's top 5 favourite test batters list. The former Aussie leggie also open-heartedly praise Joe Root for his batting. At #3 comes New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson. Kane Williamson is one of the best batters, not only in New Zealand but at the Global level as well. New Zealand lifted the maiden World Test Championship title under Williamson's captaincy.

On the other hand, the #4 and #5 spots in Shane Warne's top 5 are occupied by an Indian and another Australian. Indian test captain Virat Kohli is at #4 while Australia's Marnus Labuschagne is at #5.
