South Africa won first test by 206 runs

Dec. 30 (CRICKETNMORE) - South Africa wrapped up the first test by 206 runs against Sri Lanka at St. George’s Park in Port Elizabeth on Friday. Sri Lanka were bowled out for 281.

Mathews was out for 59. He had added only one run to his score on Friday. For South Africa, Rabada finished with 3/77 and Maharaj took 3/86, while Abbott's spell of two for seven in five overs on Friday enabled him to finish with two for 38.

South Africa now head to Cape Town with a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
