Ranji Trophy 2022: Even after getting overlooked in the IPL Auction for 2 years in a row, 39-year old pacer S Sreesanth hasn't given up on his career yet and is in a constant state of efforts to attract selectors' attention with his performance in the domestic circuit. Making his return after 9 years in Ranji Trophy, Sree managed his first wicket in 9 years and was overjoyed and humbled by this wicket against Meghalaya.

Sreesanth via his official Twitter account expresses his happiness for this wicket and shared a video of the same. In this video one can see how Sreesanth dismissed Meghalaya batter Aryan Bora and then laid down flat on the pitch, paying his 'pranaam' or respect towards the pitch and metaphorically, the game of cricket. The former Indian pacer managed two wickets to his name in his 12 overs, giving away 40 runs. However, the 39-year old went wicketless in the second innings.

Sreesanth shared this video along with the caption, 'Now that's my 1st wicket after 9 long years..gods grace I was just over joyed and giving my Pranaam to the wicket'
