Stats: Highest Individual Scores By Batters In India vs Sri Lanka Tests
IND v SL: Team India's new red-ball captain Rohit Sharma will be eager to take on the Lankans in his first test series as the full-time Indian captain, after whitewashing West Indies in ODIs and T20Is followed by a whitewash against the Lankans in T20Is.
Meanwhile, former Virat Kohli will don a test cap for India for the 100th time in his career, becoming the 71st player to do so and yet awaiting his 71st century. Lankans on the other hand would look to bounce back after a recent string of defeats in the shorter format.
