In the same T20I where KL Rahul smacked 89 runs, skipper Rohit Sharma played a gem of an innings as he smacked 118 runs off just 43 balls, with a strike rate of 274.81. Rohit smacked 12 fours and 10 sixes as he completely floored the Lankan bowling attack, posting a total of 260/5 in 20 overs.

The 3-match series between India and Sri Lanka is set to start from February 24th (Thursday). The first T20I will be played at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium, Lucknow while the remaining two T20Is will be played on 26th and 27th at Dharamsala.
