Sunrisers Hyderabad Continue Good Run, Beat Punjab Kings By 7 Wickets
Another dominating performance by both ball and bat helped Sunrisers Hyderabad defeat Punjab Kings by seven wickets in the 28th match of the IPL 2022 played at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai.
Chasing a below-par total of 152, SRH lost Kane Williamson early in the third over but Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi added 48 runs in the next 31 balls to set a good platform for the run chase.
Rahul Chahar struck twice in consecutive overs to get both Rahul (34 in 22) and Abhishek (31 in 25) to get PBKS in the game.
However, Aiden Markram continued where he left off in the previous game and along with Nicholas Pooran, added 75 runs in 50 balls to finish the game with seven balls to spare. Markram smashed 41 in 27 balls with four fours and a six while Pooran made 35 in 30 balls including a six and a four.
